This Public Works Contract consists of construction of Owner’s Highway 92 Emergency Pipeline Replacement Project located on private property along Highway 92 in unincorporated San Mateo County. Work includes, without limitation:
- Highway 92 Potable Water Pipeline Project – Phase 1 (Sta. 10+00 to Sta. 44+82, Sta. 70+00 to Sta. 73+00, and Sta. 80+00 to Sta. 83+40):
- Installation of approximately 3,170 linear feet (LF) of 10-inch and 6-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) by open trench construction within easements on private property along Highway 92, as shown on the Contract Drawings.
- Installation of approximately 390 LF of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) water main by Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) within easements on private property along Highway 92, as shown on the Contract Drawings.
- Installation of water service lines and reconnection of water services.
- Installation of three fire hydrant assembly.
- Installation of valves and other appurtenances.
- Abandonment of existing water facilities.
- Connection of the new water main to the existing 12-inch Welded Steel (WS) and existing 8-inch ductile iron (DI) water lines.
- Surface restoration.
- Highway 92 Potable Water Pipeline Project – Emergency Restoration Phase (Sta. 44+82 to Sta. 65+15)
- Installation of approximately 1,000 LF of 10-inch DIP by open trench construction within easements on private property along Highway 92, as shown on the Contract Drawings.
- Installation of approximately 1090 LF of HDPE water main by HDD within easements on private property along Highway 92, as shown on the Contract Drawings.
- Installation of 2-inch copper tubing within a 4-inch steel casing pipe with pipe supports to attach to an existing bridge, as shown in the contract drawings.
- Installation of water service lines and reconnection of water services.
- Installation of three fire hydrant assembly.
- Installation of valves and other appurtenances.
- Removal of temporary bypass and site restoration
- Abandonment of existing water facilities.
- Connection of the new water main to the existing 12-inch Welded Steel (WS) water line.
- Surface restoration.
A mandatory Prebid meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024, at 10 a.m. local time starting at the at the office of the Coastside County Water District, 766 Main Street, Half Moon Bay, California 94019. Representatives of the District will be available to answer questions and a project site visit will follow the meeting. Only bids from Contractor with representatives in attendance at the Prebid meeting will be accepted by the owner – all other bids shall be returned unopened.
The Engineer’s estimate of the construction cost is $2,651,000.

This Public Works Contract consists of improvements at Owner’s Denniston Water Treatment Plant Tanks Coating Project located at 150 Denniston Creek Road, El Granada, CA, Approximately one-mile up gravel road towards the hills (across the street from Pilot Light Café) in Half Moon Bay, California 94019 per the Construction Documents, including but not limited to coating application of two contact clarifier tanks; three filters; and one coagulation tank.
No pre-bid meeting is scheduled. If a Contractor wishes to visit the project site with District personnel, the Contractor can coordinate a site visit with Sean Donovan, Nunes Treatment Plant Supervisor, by calling him at (650) 533-2431.
The Engineer’s opinion of probable construction cost is $115,000.

This Public Works Contract consists of improvements at Owner’s Nunes Treatment Plant Hypochlorite Room Improvements Project located at 500 Lewis Foster Drive, Half Moon Bay, California, 94019 per the Construction Documents, including but not limited to installation of Owner-furnished Sodium Hypochlorite Generator, air blower, and hydrogen detector; plumbing piping and supports; construction of reinforced concrete equipment pad; electrical work; floor spall repair, and chemical-resistant coating application.

This Public Works Contract consists of construction of Owner’s Nunes Treatment Plan Paving Project located in San Mateo County. Work includes, without limitation:
- Paving of approximately 18,270 (SF) of roadway and pavement, as shown on the Contract Drawings.
- Installation of approximately 275 LF of 4-inch Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) by open trench, as shown on the Contract Drawings.
- Installation of approximately 310 LF of four 1-inch conduits by open trench construction
- Connection of the new water to the existing 6-inch fire hydrant lateral.
